Data Entry Specialist | Web Research | List Building - Contract to Hire
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Specialist with strong skills in web research and list building. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in gathering accurate data, organizing it in spreadsheets, and maintaining clean, structured records.
Responsibilities:
Conduct web research to collect company and contact information
Build and maintain accurate prospect or business lists based on given criteria
Input and organize data into Excel/Google Sheets with attention to detail
Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness
Remove duplicates and ensure consistency across all records
Requirements:
Proven experience in data entry, web research, or lead generation
Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets
Ability to use online tools/databases for research (LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Hunter.io, Apollo, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Deliverables:
Clean, accurate, and well-structured datasets ready for client use
Lists that meet specified project criteria and are free of duplicates/errors
