Context

SAS Matrix Lead, born out of an academic background, is a software company specializing in spreadsheet innovation. We’ve developed several advanced tools, including:

We have a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@tiechengspreadsheets) where we publish demonstration videos of our tools. While our past videos have focused on individual features, we plan to launch a new series centered on real-world use cases—such as data analysis inspired by current events or business scenarios solved using our software. The goals of this video series are to:

• Increase marketing impact and drive software adoption—specifically improve software installations and conversion from trial to paying users
• Grow the subscriber base of our YouTube channel

Your Mission

• Get familiar with our tools and understand their strengths
• Select interesting and relevant real-world use cases—such as trending topics, current events, or business challenges—that can be effectively addressed using our software
• Script, narrate, record, and edit clear and engaging videos
• Produce at least 10 polished videos (5–10 minutes each)
• Publish the videos on our YouTube channel
• Monitor the impact: video views, user registrations, conversions to paying users

Ideal Candidate

• Fluent in spoken English — videos will be produced in English
• Experienced in video creation, ideally with a portfolio showcasing work on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram
• Strong interest or background in data analysis (a major plus)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a valuable bonus
• Available to start as soon as possible

Contract & Ownership

• We will sign a contract: freelance agreement, internship agreement, or employment contract, depending on your situation.
• All videos will be the exclusive intellectual property of SAS Matrix Lead and cannot be published elsewhere.

Compensation

Compensation will depend on your experience and the type of contract (freelance, internship, or employment). We offer competitive payment for freelancers, and provide support and mentoring for students and interns. Please include your rate expectations when applying.
