Job Summary of Guest Service Cashier:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Guest Service Cashier to be the first point of contact for our clients, visitors, and employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities of Guest Service Cashier:
• Offer polite and professional help to visitors, clients, and staff members
• Responsibly handle incoming phone calls by utilizing a multi-line phone system for efficient call management
• Administer the check-in and check-out activities, in addition to appointment coordination when necessary
• Maintain a welcoming and orderly front desk and lobby area
• Perform essential office responsibilities like entering data, organizing paperwork, and distributing incoming mail
• Administer visitor admission and preserve security protocols when needed
• Promote effective interdepartmental communication to facilitate the smooth running of operations
• Handle inquiries and resolve complaints, or refer them to the appropriate individuals
Qualifications of Guest Service Cashier:
• Fulfilling the educational requirement includes having a high school diploma or an equivalent, with a suggestion for individuals with an associate degree
• Effective communication skills are essential when dealing with customers directly
• Having robust interpersonal skills and communication expertise is important
• Competence in handling office devices such as phone systems, printers, and computers
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or scheduling tools
