Job Title: Affordable housing Audit Senior/Supervisor
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $80,000-$115,000

Position Overview
The Affordable Housing Audit Manager will oversee and manage audit processes for affordable housing projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This position requires a strategic thinker who can lead audit teams, analyze financial data, and provide insights to improve operational efficiencies while maintaining compliance with HUD and other regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and lead audit teams in assessing the financial and operational aspects of affordable housing projects.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with HUD regulations and low-income housing guidelines.
• Analyze financial statements and reports to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure audit findings are addressed and implemented.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated on changes in affordable housing regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in auditing, with a focus on affordable housing or similar sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of HUD regulations and low-income housing requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
