Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of equipment repairs and maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial equipment found in Home Depot and external customers' retail locations and manufacturing facilities. This is a hybrid position, which means you will have the flexibility to work from home and travel to various locations within a reasonable radius of your home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of equipment repairs and maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial equipment found in Home Depot and external customers' retail locations and manufacturing facilities.
 - Utilize company technology platforms to document all work performed on equipment, including labor and parts, and maintain accurate records.
 - Proactively communicate with business partners and leaders regarding customer needs, parts, and servicing of equipment to provide excellent customer service.
 - Effectively communicate with customers regarding service requested and provided, and ensure that all customer interactions are professional and courteous.
 - Perform all work and assignments in accordance with proper safety practices, adhere to all THD and Safety rules and regulations, and use sound judgment to address and eliminate safety-related issues.
 - Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment both mechanically and electrically, and perform proper inspections and testing of customer equipment aligned with preventive maintenance.
 - Be available and accessible by phone and tablet during work schedule to provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
 
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
 - Must have a valid Driver's License for the employment state.
 - At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment and conducting preventive maintenance on industrial and commercial equipment.
 - Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical schematics.
 - Versatile equipment maintenance repair skill set.
 - Ability to adhere to OSHA regulations, including fall protection and lock-out tag-out procedures.
 - Must reside within 15-20 miles of the target city.
 - Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
 - Good written and verbal communication skills.
 - Ability to consistently and accurately document work performed.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
 - Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
 - Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences.
 - Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers.
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 - 3 years of relevant work experience repairing and maintaining equipment.
 - Working knowledge of handheld technology (smartphone, laptop, tablet).
 - Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods of time, lift 80 lbs, and climb 15+ ft.
 - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
