Position at a Glance:
- Location: Remote (with occasional onsite work in Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis St. Paul, MN)
- Compensation: Competitive salary
- Start Date: Immediate openings available
- Duration: 2 rotational semesters (Spring 2025 and Fall 2025)
Key Responsibilities:
As a Co-op, IT - Software Engineering, you will be assigned to one of our Software Engineering Portfolio teams, where you will work on exciting projects and contribute to our IT transformation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
- Participating in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Contributing to the development of software performance, reliability, and security
- Working with cloud technology, including migration, deployment, and management
- Engaging in problem-solving and troubleshooting to overcome technical challenges
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation
- Participating in knowledge-sharing and learning activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
What You Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to commit to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for a total of 2 rotational semesters (Spring 2025 and Fall 2025)
- Be willing to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis St. Paul, MN headquarters office (as agreed upon during the interview)
- Be an undergrad college student with a 2.5 GPA or higher and have completed at least 2 years in a college program
- Degree emphasis should be in Computer Science, Software Development, Systems/Industrial/Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics/Operations Research, Cyber Security, Business Management, or a related field
- Strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
- Good work ethic and ability to work well with a diverse group of people
- Prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to digest large amounts of data and information and succinctly explain what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision-making
- Desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Passion for working on technologies such as Mobile apps, Enterprise Web apps, APIs, Messaging, Databases, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence
