Key Responsibilities
- Connect directly with veterinary facilities to coordinate prescription authorizations, resolve client issues, and clarify order requests.
 - Investigate and troubleshoot to determine appropriate solutions for clients and core partners, following up as necessary to resolve issues.
 - Complete accurate data entry of prescriptions into Chewy's healthcare software.
 - Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders.
 - Work with understanding, undivided attention, patience, empathy, and graciousness to clients and partners alike.
 - Communicate effectively with veterinary facilities via telephone, utilizing internal programs and systems to navigate solutions and document center note accounts.
 - Expect to spend a significant portion of the typical business day on outbound veterinary center/client telephone contacts.
 
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in a client or healthcare-centered environment.
 - Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
 - Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the telephone while navigating on the PC and taking notes).
 - Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
 - High school education or equivalent.
 - Ability to maintain a Pharmacy Professional Permit from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable.
 - Strong critical thinking skills.
 - Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
 - Ability to adapt to change as per the business needs of the organization.
 - Flexibility to shift schedule and stay at work longer than required depending on the needs of the specialty unit.
 - Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
 - Ability to pass a background check.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
 - Previous experience in a pharmacy or veterinary setting.
 - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
