About the Role

As the Sales Support and Services Manager for Disney Vacation Club, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and mentorship to a team of over 200 Cast Individuals, while also overseeing the operational requirements and management of the DVC Sales Organization. You will be instrumental in implementing and orchestrating DVC's presence onboard Disney Cruise Line, at the Walt Disney World Resort, and during virtual event productions, while also providing day-to-day operational support to both the Sales and Lead Generation teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple areas of the operation, including various Business Centers on Disney Property, virtually, and onboard Disney Cruise Line, ensuring that facilities and resources are effectively managed.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Operations team, empowering them to achieve elevated levels of service for both Cast and Guests.
  • Effectively communicate team expectations, manage team performance, and evaluate individual contributions to drive improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Focus on enhancing the Guest experience and optimizing resource utilization, with an emphasis on the sales process, customer engagement, and conversion strategy, ensuring that collateral materials and production elements align with this objective.
  • Implement strategic initiatives while fostering a positive approach to change management among Cast members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting needs.
  • Collaborate with leaders from Non-Tasks departments to provide valuable input and guidance to the Sales and Lead Generation team working within the Business Operation, including DVC Partners and DVC Advisors, to ensure that training and development initiatives are in sync with performance feedback.
  • Oversee and coordinate DVC's presence onboard Disney Cruise Line, including transportation logistics, Guest communication, and integration with the cruise line's operations.
  • Manage virtual event productions, ensuring seamless communication and integration of virtual sales activities, while also optimizing the use of technology for training and development purposes.
  • Collaborate with operations teams at Walt Disney World Resort to align sales strategies, facility requirements, and Guest experience enhancements.
  • Ensure that the necessary infrastructure, both physical and technical, is in place to support sales operations across various locations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to create compelling collateral materials that support sales efforts and enhance the Guest experience.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting outreach team operations.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle, including customer engagement and conversion process.
  • Comprehension of workforce and scheduling functionality critical for managing operational resources.
  • Ability to identify, nurture, and invest in talent within your team to promote engagement, collaboration, and overall job satisfaction.
  • Capacity to lead and direct Cast performance and drive operational improvements.
  • Commitment to diversity and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with partners and provide solutions that align with strategic objectives and support dynamic processes.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing and managing projects and deadlines in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in working with presentations before groups.
  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing various computer programs, including video conferencing tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, as well as Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Available to travel and work onboard Disney Cruise Line.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Guest Experience Manager.
  • Knowledge of Walt Disney World policies and procedures.
  • Workforce Management Experience.
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience effectively managing vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in utilizing software like Avaya/Telecom and customer relationship management (CRM) programs.
  • Experience with IT systems to plan virtual show meetings.
