As a National Security Analyst Senior, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation. In this hybrid role, you'll balance your time between our remote office and home, working closely with our team to deliver actionable intelligence and support the Navy's outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute "Navy Weeks" and outreach events across the country, showcasing the Navy's missions, equipment, and people.
  • Conduct market research on designated Navy Week cities, identifying relevant organizations, corporations, and government officials to participate in outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with planning teams via phone, email, and in-person meetings to provide updates and ensure successful event execution.
  • Construct and submit itineraries, trip books, and other schedules of events, serving as a point of contact for media engagements during Navy Weeks.
  • Monitor media activity generated as a result of outreach events, demonstrating expertise in public affairs, media relations, and event planning.
  • Plan events with diverse groups of people and organizations, showcasing your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and public communications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of public affairs, media relations, and event planning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • US citizenship.

  • Experience working with government agencies or military organizations.
