Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Collaborate with sales and customer engineering management to determine staffing levels, establish job requisitions, and lead the interview process to fill open positions.
 - CE Team Enablement: Prepare, train, and equip the Customer Engineering team to ensure they are well-versed in Google Cloud solutions and equipped to support annualized business goals.
 - Business Opportunity Identification: Work with the Google Cloud sales team to identify, qualify, and prioritize coverage for enterprise opportunities, providing technical insights to secure success.
 - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales account teams, customer support, product management, customer solutions, and engineering to resolve product issues affecting pre and post-sales customer satisfaction.
 - Travel and Customer Engagement: Travel up to 30% of the time to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide technical leadership.
 
Minimal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
 - 2 years of experience managing a technical team in a cloud computing environment or a similar customer-facing role.
 - Experience building or leveraging machine learning solutions and developing applications using AI frameworks and techniques.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
 - Experience with contact center technologies and systems, and building conversational applications.
 - Experience with document and vision AI.
 - Experience serving in the capacity of a pre-sales, customer-facing field engineering manager.
 - Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given target audience, combining deep technical knowledge with clear, everyday language.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this full-time role is $154,000-$236,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our compensation levels are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on every job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the location across all US locations.
