Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a broad understanding of enterprise data storage environments
• Implement and maintain enterprise backup and data security technologies
• Efficiently manage and monitor reporting platforms and software
• Define and implement trend storage design strategies, based on industry standards and best practices
• Interface and communicate with application, database, server, and other technology teams on architecture and configuration selection to ensure suitable storage technology and design
• Show strong organizational skills to adapt and prioritize tasks in a continually changing environment
• Contribute clear and concise documentation for both routine and irregular tasks
• Provide technical support and guidance on complex activities like installation, configuration, and backup/restore operations for all systems
• Perform code updates and security patching to maintain the integrity of storage systems

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3 years of experience in data storage or a related field with an emphasis on networking and storage protocols
• Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation
• Proven expertise in enterprise storage administration, with expertise in DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs
• A strong grasp of current and emerging data protection technologies
• Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3)
• Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS
• Operating system administration skills (both Linux and Windows)
• VMWare concepts and administration
