Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at Walgreens, you will be responsible for:
* Building and deploying models using technical expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data engineering
* Developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes and improve customer experiences
* Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and advocating for data-driven solutions
* Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and business growth
* Working with large datasets, including data wrangling, feature engineering, and data visualization
* Developing and maintaining high-quality, well-documented code using languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL
* Collaborating with data engineers and data architects to design and implement data infrastructure and architecture
* Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of best practices and standards for data science and machine learning
* Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions to meet those needs
* Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* At least 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
* Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL
* Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
* Experience with data engineering and data architecture, including data pipelines and data warehousing
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
* Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Preferred Qualifications
* Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
* Experience with IoT and Edge AI
* Experience with Reinforcement Learning
* Experience in the healthcare industry
* Experience with data governance and data quality
* Experience with data security and compliance
