**Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer – Business Intelligence and Cloud Application Development**

**Job Summary**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer on our Accounting BI team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing data solutions that drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to identify and scope data structures and technologies that facilitate the evaluation of key business questions. You will also partner with associate engineering teams to improve data infrastructure, data availability, and access to customer insights through business intelligence tools.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Work with stakeholders and engineering teams to identify and scope data structures and technologies that facilitate the evaluation of key business questions
* Partner with associate engineering teams to improve data infrastructure, data availability, and access to customer insights through business intelligence tools
* Design, build, and implement data solutions using AWS and other cloud technologies
* Implement anomaly detection systems to proactively identify potential data quality issues using business intelligence frameworks
* Enable big-scale analytics using EMR and other big data technologies
* Establish and implement technology best practices that should be followed across the organization
* Work on proof of concepts for the adoption of new technologies and tools
**Essential Qualifications**
* 3+ years of experience in data engineering
* Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
* Experience with SQL and one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
* Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell)
* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with big data processing technologies (e.g., Hadoop or Apache Spark)
* Experience with data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting/analytic tools and environments
**Skills and Competencies**
