Job Summary
As a District Leader, Pharmacy Operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacy professionals across multiple locations. Your primary focus will be on driving business results, developing talent, and delivering exceptional patient and customer outcomes. You will work closely with our pharmacy teams to develop and execute business plans, strategies, and initiatives that drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Operations (50%)
- Develop and execute district business plans and strategies to deliver on all financial measures, including P&L Management, Sales and Script budgets, Inventory Management, Payroll Management, Asset Protection, and Shrink budget accountabilities.
 - Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions and capitalize on opportunities.
 - Manage existing programs and services, aligning front store and pharmacy teams on new and existing initiatives and execution expectations.
 - Communicate district plans and problem-solve on store-related issues.
 - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to pharmacy.
 
Talent (30%)
- Develop and execute a district talent plan to align region and division priorities.
 - Create a culture in the district that promotes colleague growth and engagement.
 - Ensure high-quality and consistent execution of all colleague training and development programs.
 - Develop and mentor future district leadership talent.
 - Accountable for district succession plans and development.
 
Portfolio Growth (20%)
- Provide market-specific input and knowledge towards the development of the acquisition and real estate strategy.
 - Implement real estate strategy and provide acquisition support.
 - Identify file buy and acquisition leads, cultivate relationships with competitors, and ensure retention of file buy assets.
 - Lead the implementation of new programs in both front store and pharmacy.

Essential Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a multi-unit manager or 5 years as a GM in a big box retailer.
 - Prior retail experience preferred.
 - Prior pharmacy experience preferred.
 - Management and supervisory experience of pharmacy staff across multiple business units preferred.
 - Bachelor's degree or 8 years of relevant experience.
 - Pharm Tech License preferred.
 - BS or PharmD in Pharmacy preferred.
