Key Responsibilities
As an Early Morning Stocker, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring shelves and storage areas are stocked with the right products to meet customer demand
- Unpacking and breaking down merchandise cartons and pallets to maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Displaying advertising and pricing signs to promote products and drive sales
- Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in locating and selecting the best solutions for their pets
- Cleaning display cases, shelves, and aisles to maintain a clean and safe store environment
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful as an Early Morning Stocker at PetSmart, you will need:
- A strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including inventory management, customer service, and store operations
- The ability to work during non-operating store hours, which may include weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of pet care and supplies
- Experience with inventory management and control
