About the Role: Data Entry Specialist
The Microsoft Excel Data Specialist is a critical position that involves meticulously reviewing, verifying, and auditing data stored in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying discrepancies, errors, and compliance issues and working collaboratively with teams to rectify them. Your expertise in Microsoft Excel and data analysis will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Review: Carefully review and audit data within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and consistency, adhering to established data management standards.
- Data Validation: Verify data entries, formulas, and calculations for correctness and compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Error Identification: Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in data sets, formulas, or spreadsheet structures, providing detailed insights for corrective actions.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that data stored in Excel complies with relevant industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies, mitigating risks and ensuring regulatory adherence.

- Auditing Data: 3+ years of experience in auditing data for discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies, and implementing corrective measures.
- Excel: 3+ years of experience in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, data management, and reporting, with advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
