We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Information Designing team. The Information Designing team owns technology platforms and datasets that enable systems and individuals to uncover new insights and tailor actions to meet business objectives. We need your help designing and building these. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in technology choices, technology platforms, design procedures, and methodologies across the Information Designing environment to build systems that address business issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient data systems.Key Responsibilities
- Apply wide knowledge of technology choices, technology platforms, design procedures, and methodologies across the Information Designing environment to build systems that address business issues.
 - Design and develop frameworks and datasets using programming best practices, data management essentials, data storage standards, latest advancements in distributed systems, and operational excellence best practices.
 - Analyze source systems, identify key data sources, and change requirements, design reasonable data models, and document the design/specifications.
 - Exhibit passion for quality and efficiency by utilizing professional development methods, principles, and rules.
 - Successfully communicate with other teams and stakeholders, heighten technical and administrative issues effectively, and resolve conflicts.
 - Peer review work, effectively guide other members of the team, improving their skills, their knowledge of our systems, and their ability to complete tasks.
 
Essential Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential capabilities:- 3+ years of non-temporary position professional software development experience.
 - 3+ years of non-temporary job design or engineering (design examples, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
 - Experience programming with at least one programming language.
 
Preferred Capabilities
While not required, the following preferred capabilities will make you a strong candidate for this role:- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding guidelines, code reviews, source control management, build cycles, testing, and deployment experience.
 - Four-year degree in software engineering or related field.
