Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Full Stack Customer Support Representative to join our team at Walgreens. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to, Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
  • Drive consistency and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by analyzing, assessing, and re-planning processes; monitoring and evaluating results; and implementing changes.
  • Drive regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with organizational financial objectives. Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance.
  • Support efforts to enhance patient experience by focusing on healthcare services (e.g., patient interviews, medication administration, drug treatment reviews, and retail, clinical, or wellness services, such as vaccinations, disease management, and Specialty programs).
  • Provide expertise, resources, training, and support to pharmacists and field management. Support staff training experiences and development opportunities. Promote collaboration and persuade pharmacy staff by encouraging a shared vision and supporting organizational strategies, systems, mission, values, and guidelines of ethics and integrity.
  • Conduct data and clinical audits and make vital decisions to ensure accuracy and propriety of medications.
  • Review patient accounts and profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment. Provide individualized patient/ supplier consultations.
  • Through the use of exceptional interpersonal skills, win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy issues.
  • Provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients as the value of individual consultations.
  • Be responsible for all inquiries, exchanges, and issues directly related to patient treatment.
  • Provide clinical meetings and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as necessary.
  • Perform other work related to the job responsibilities in this record as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to rules and procedures for all job responsibilities to meet objectives. Comply with organizational strategies and techniques, including all HIPAA rules/guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with government, state, and local pharmacy regulations.

Essential Capabilities

  • Current pharmacist license as granted by the relevant state licensing authority.
  • Experience in promoting colleagues to research and resolve issues.
  • Experience working with confidential information.
  • Able to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/coordinating and following details and meeting time constraints of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience creating ways to achieve objectives with minimal oversight, relying on oneself to complete targets and deciding when to accelerate issues.
  • Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessing customer satisfaction.
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Capabilities

  • Ability to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
  • Knowledge of insurance plans.
  • Knowledge of PC operating systems, including Radius, Commitment, and Plus.
  • Essential level expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save capabilities, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a section, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check or printing worksheets).
  • Essential level expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, reworking, storing, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding outline level, adding, focusing, and altering text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving items, printing slide view or running a slide show).
  • Essential level expertise in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, sticking, and adjusting text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting objects, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, and print capabilities).
