About the Role

As a Government Sales Support Representative, you will be the liaison between internal Stryker customers and external government customers, providing critical sales support and ensuring seamless order management. This remote opportunity allows you to work flexibly while being part of a supportive team that is passionate about making a difference in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for government customers, addressing order-related inquiries, pricing, order credits, rebills, holds, scheduling, information updates, and shipping details.
  • Provide prompt, quality service and support to sales representatives, including government-facing quotes, order entry, order management, warranty replacements, and troubleshooting order inquiries.
  • Respond to and resolve issues raised by Account Managers, customers, distributors, and prime vendors per company and contract procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Account Managers, regional managers, IBP, Schedulers, AR, Service Parts, Marketing, Logistics, GCO, and CDGO.
  • Relay customer and sales force communication to internal teams regarding order management and scheduled delivery dates.
  • Follow a standardized order entry process to ensure 100% accuracy for all orders submitted via phone, email, and fax.
  • Process government customer orders, track shipment status, and update GSA sites.
  • Provide detailed product information and consistent pricing to customers through order entry or order-related inquiries.
  • Uphold order-related policies and guidelines, maintaining accurate records and filing orders and documentation.
  • Identify and record productivity issues or concerns to help root cause problems.
  • Foster teamwork and build relationships with fellow team members, leadership, and individuals across departments and divisions.
  • Assist the Government Customer Service Manager and Channel Associate with preparing government-facing sales quotes and orders.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Formal customer service training.
  • Experience with WAWF, ERP, JDE, Oracle, or SAP systems.
