Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Autism/ABA Therapist to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. As an Autism/ABA Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work directly with children and families, implementing personalized ABA therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Responsibilities

As an Autism/ABA Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents with ASD
  • Collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
  • Conducting discrete trials, implementing behavior support, and treatment plans
  • Working collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
  • Being responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Being goal-oriented and maintaining professionalism in all aspects of your work
  • Arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred
  • Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
  • 1-year ABA/RBT Experience
  • If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $21-$26 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to your hourly rate, you will also be eligible for:

  • Flexible schedules and competitive hourly rates
  • Incentive programs and bonuses offered at 3, 6, and 12 months for qualifying RBTs - starting at $500 and up to $4,000
