Key Responsibilities and Expectations
The Graduate Assistant will be responsible for developing relationships with the coaching staff and team members, assisting with planning and running team training sessions, recording and reviewing games and practices, and contributing to scouting reports and recruiting efforts. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Assist with necessary paperwork and expense reporting
 - Coordinate travel planning and scheduling
 - Provide mentoring, tutoring, or other assistance needed by athletes
 - Conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner at all times
 - Develop and demonstrate a working knowledge of NCAA compliance rules
 - Complete all University-required trainings, including FERPA and Title IX
 
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must:
- Have completed a bachelor's degree
 - Be accepted and enrolled full-time (at least six credit hours per semester) in a master's degree program (M.S.E. Organizational Leadership preferred) during the academic year (fall and spring semester)
 - Have previous experience in a college athletic setting
 - Demonstrate a genuine interest in and willingness to work with students, with an understanding of student attitudes, concerns, and problems
 - Possess strong organizational and computer skills
 - Be legally authorized to work in the United States
 
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:
- Experience with social media, video, and photo editing
 - AED and/or CPR training
 - Previous experience working in a Catholic institution or with a similar mission
