As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to work on your own schedule, gaining hands-on teaching experience in a variety of settings. Key Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies, to students of different ages and skill levels
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, adapting to the needs of each classroom and student
• Manage classroom behavior, creating a positive and respectful learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school administrators, providing feedback and support as needed
• Participate in professional development opportunities, enhancing your teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• A NJ Substitute Credential
• A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
