Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid/Senior Process Mechanical Designer to join our team, supporting multi-discipline designs for facilities primarily serving the water and wastewater industries. Key Responsibilities
- Develop designs in BIM documents utilizing Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD software under the direction of senior design professionals
- Collaborate with a team of senior process mechanical designers and BIM Leads to deliver high-quality design solutions
- Execute work on wastewater and water utilities and industrial facilities, including treatment plant, pumping station, and bio-system facility planning and design
- Conduct field inspections and testing to ensure performance and conformity with plans and specifications
- Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
- Support studies, permitting, and alternative analysis, as well as field activities such as site investigations
Essential Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in municipal and/or industrial projects, with a focus on water and wastewater industries
- Proficiency in BIM-coordinated design, AutoCAD, and REVIT
- Experience with 3D modeling, drawing production, and associated workflows
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and verbally
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microstation
- Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and technologies
- Professional certifications or licenses relevant to the field
