About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Integration Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Oracle Integration Developer, you will primarily focus on the development and support of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and work with Oracle Application Express (APEX) and PL/SQL. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality integrations and applications, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and security. Key Responsibilities

  • Integration Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to meet business requirements and ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Application Development: Develop and support Oracle APEX applications and PL/SQL code to provide robust and scalable solutions for our business needs.
  • Data Management: Perform complex data analysis and manipulation to support business intelligence and reporting needs, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Database Design and Modeling: Apply expertise in database design, normalization, and ER modeling to ensure our databases are optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Integration and Automation: Implement reliable and efficient data integration and automation services to streamline business processes and improve productivity.
  • Production Support: Troubleshoot production issues across various business areas and technologies, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize database and application performance, including tuning PL/SQL code and indexing strategies, to ensure our systems operate at peak efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business clients, IT staff, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement improvements, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data structures, queries, reports, and development processes, and develop and institutionalize software user manuals and technical reports to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage quality assurance and testing efforts to ensure the reliability and performance of integrations and applications, applying industry best practices and standards.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure integrations and applications adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, protecting sensitive data and maintaining the trust of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply business process improvement practices and re-engineering methodologies to enhance integration and application development and deployment processes, driving innovation and excellence in our operations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PL/SQL programming, including triggers, procedures, packages, and functions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX and associated web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Expertise in database design, normalization, and ER modeling.
  • Understanding of Oracle security features and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX).
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Applications is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with database administration and architecture.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve routine and advanced system technical issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and impact business results across teams.
