Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Financial Analyst - Reporting and Analysis to lead our financial planning and analysis team. As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial and operational data to provide meaningful insights that inform business decisions. You will lead a team of analysts to produce reliable and timely financial and operational reports and analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of analysts to produce accurate and timely financial and operational reports and analysis, and provide guidance and coaching to ensure team members are meeting their full potential.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze and interpret financial and operational data to provide meaningful insights that inform business decisions, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders and teams regarding financial and operational activities, and ensure that financial plans and analysis are aligned with business objectives.
- Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and projections to support financial planning and analysis, and prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Monitor budget performance and identify areas for improvement, and perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior leadership.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving strategic decision-making.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Certification: Professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
- Experience with Financial Systems: Experience with financial systems and tools, such as financial planning and analysis software.
- Experience with Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
