Key Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in drafting, including day, night, and weekend classes, as well as online and dual enrollment courses
 - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing industry-based certifications and expertise
 - Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
 - Support the institution's mission and vision, adhering to the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies
 - Maintain currency in the teaching discipline, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements
 - Collaborate with colleagues and academic program managers to achieve program goals and objectives
 
Essential Qualifications:
- Associate's degree and/or work experience in the field of study (drafting or related field)
 - Industry-based certifications in drafting, such as CAD, Revit, or other computer-related drafting software
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education teaching experience
 - Experience with online and dual enrollment courses
 - Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technology
 - Experience working with diverse student populations
 
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of drafting principles and practices
 - Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and other computer-related drafting software
 - Excellent teaching and communication skills
