Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and monitoring of nursing programs, ensuring that they meet the needs of our students, employers, and the broader community.
• Develop and maintain curriculum that is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Lead a team of faculty members in the delivery of nursing courses, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality instruction and student outcomes.
• Collaborate with program coordinators, faculty, and staff to ensure consistency and quality in program delivery across campuses.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local advisory boards, employers, and industry partners to ensure that our programs meet the needs of the workforce.
• Prepare and facilitate annual faculty convocation to ensure that programs are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
• Monitor student progress and follow up as needed to ensure that students are meeting program requirements and achieving their academic goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement, retention, and success.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure that our programs remain relevant and compliant.

Essential Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in nursing education, with a strong background in academic administration and curriculum development.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida.
• Experience in a career college environment, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of adult learners.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of faculty members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform program development and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Experience in program development and accreditation, with a strong understanding of the accreditation process and standards.
• Experience in curriculum design and development, with a strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
• Experience in faculty development and training, with a strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
• Experience in program evaluation and assessment, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

• A salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
