About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Group Leader to join our team, responsible for supervising daily activities of administrative, technical, and operational employees. As a leader, you'll set priorities for the team to ensure task completion, share responsibility and accountability for plant assets, personnel, and achievement of plant-related business goals. You'll foster a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong customer and safety focus that embraces inclusion and diversity, innovation, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Group Leader, you'll be responsible for:
  • Fostering EH&S engagement, particularly in the field and in the areas of personal safety and compliance.
  • Creating a Highly Reliable Organizational culture and the elimination of unplanned events by implementing reliability and maintenance services and solutions.
  • Completing the requirements of the Performance Management Process for Maintenance direct reports, which includes coaching and career development.
  • Implementing and providing ongoing support of the Maintenance Procedure Use Policy at the facility.
  • Creating Equipment Reliability Strategies based upon Top Opportunity List, Critical Equipment List, and identified plant/business needs.
  • Validating ERS implementation and closing gaps to improve/sustain reliability improvement.
  • Identifying and resolving Top Reliability Opportunities and decreasing equipment failure losses and leveraging those solutions both into and out of the facility.
  • Developing and implementing the Facility Reliability Strategy and providing input into the Business Reliability Strategy.
  • Managing site annual Turnarounds (pit-stops).
  • Facilitating the annual maintenance budget setting process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant.
  • A minimum of 6 years of maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including leading a project or initiative, mentoring, etc.
  • The ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Skills

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • SAP & GMISS proficiency.

Compensation

A reasonable salary range for this position is $94,800-$169,200. This job is eligible for an additional 18% geographic differential associated with the California location and this position.
