Job Description

As a Manufacturing Production Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating CNC and manual equipment, including portable pneumatic punch, to produce high-quality products
  • Assisting in other departments as required, including receiving, inventory, and shipping
  • Reading and interpreting basic blueprints to ensure accurate production
  • Completing daily tracking of jobs and maintaining accurate records
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring the work area is clean and safe at all times
  • Performing basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures
  • Meeting daily production goals and deadlines
  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently

Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Production Associate, you will be expected to:

  • Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and team members
  • Apply basic math skills, including fractions and decimals, to perform calculations and measurements
  • Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment, including CNC machines and manual equipment
  • Interpret work orders and instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Meet schedules and time lines, including daily production goals and deadlines
  • Maintain routine records, including tracking and inventory management

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, and methods used in metal working operations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Knowledge of CNC machines and manual equipment
  • Experience with inventory management and tracking
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
