Job Description
As a Mover/Helper at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient relocation of our customers' belongings. Your responsibilities will include:- Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, completing walk-throughs, and communicating professionally in English
- Safely operating a 26-foot moving truck and monitoring its functionality
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is equipped with all necessary tools
- Accurately completing move paperwork, including calculating and collecting correct payments
- Organizing and securing the moving truck at the end of each move, ensuring it is maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner
- Safely moving, packing, and unpacking customer belongings using proper moving equipment and techniques
- Serving as the lead mover during the move, obtaining customer feedback to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A professional attitude and demeanor
- Experience in general labor, landscaping, construction, or warehouse work (although not required, it is highly desirable)
- The stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
- Good hand-eye coordination
