Manager, Analytics - Part-Time Remote Data Entry Opportunity with Amazon
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager, Analytics to join our team at Amazon. As a part-time remote data entry professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our paid media investigation capability to surface data-driven key opportunities for the Chief Authority group. You will work closely with marketing teams to identify ways to improve the efficiencies of our paid media spend and develop reporting and analyses to inform and drive business decisions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver reporting and insights in the area of paid media to drive business decisions
 - Design and build/lead the development of analytics, BI, and data science solutions to enhance paid media and improve marketing efficiencies
 - Collaborate with paid media data science teams and marketing groups to implement media mix models
 - Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by insightful interpretation of results and the design and communication of recommendations that drive action
 - Work closely with marketing, finance, and data product teams to tackle business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach
 - Utilize Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports
 - Analyze data to identify business issues and lead in-depth analysis to perform root cause analysis
 - Partner with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from Amazon, as well as external data from market research and advertising agencies) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights
 - Conceptualize and run analyses that produce insights on customer behavior and customer needs to inform and improve our offerings
 
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics)
 - Experience in the area of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an online business environment or related field
 - Advanced SQL experience
 - Proficiency in at least one industry-standard analytics and data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI)
 - Expertise in Excel with a proven track record
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a team of highly engaged individuals
 - Passion for numbers, data, and statistics, as well as delivering high-quality analysis
 - Strong inclination for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines
 - Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively with both business leaders and technical teams
 - Experience with e-commerce, subscription-based, or media content organizations
 - Interest in and/or experience with state-of-the-art data science approaches
 - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, or statistical software like R or SAS
 - Knowledge of Adobe Analytics
