Job Title: Office Clerk (Office Services) Full/Part Time: Part-Time FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Campus: Post Reports To: Director Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: The position office clerk may direct the activities of other clerks to ensure accurate and timely completion of work. Principal Responsibilities: • Organize incoming daily and inter-office mail • Knowledge of Canon copy machines • Maintain an organized office space • Independently solve work problems or work closely with supervisor in settling complaints or handling other difficult situations • Must be able to learn new tasks through training or experiences • Must be able to communicate with Professors and Faculty their printing needs (via. Phone or email) • Ability to run last minute request jobs when needed • Knowledge of campus layout and operations • Assist students and parents with any information and questions • Keep note of supplies needed for office (i.e. stamps, paper, envelopes) • Must be able to operate a postage and envelope insert machine, weight scale, postal knowledge, and Canon Copy Machine. • Occasional deliveries made to campus Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent plus experience with duplicating machinery, postal equipment and regulations. Must be computer literate and at least 2 years of office experience or equivalent experience elsewhere. Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Team attitude/reliable • Computer skills/literacy • Ability to multitask • Knowledge of Postal equipment • Knowledge of Canon copy machine • Adobe/ Word • Driver's license required Working Conditions: This position operates sometimes in an office setting with important detail to deadlines. Main position is on a specific campus. Long periods of standing and walking throughout the day. Ability to lift 50Lbs or over.
