As an Academic Tutor and Behavioral Coach with Club Xcite, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, developing strong relationships and helping them overcome challenges to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching and tutoring support to students, addressing their academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Prepare engaging and effective lesson plans, tailored to each student's unique requirements and goals.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, session schedules, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Track student progress using our goal-tracking system, making adjustments to support strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of worked hours, client progress, and other relevant information.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as an Academic Tutor and Behavioral Coach with Club Xcite, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in education, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral, social, or emotional challenges.
• Availability to work at least 3 weekdays from 3pm-7pm, with flexibility to work occasional morning or weekend hours.
• Strong personal organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients.
• Familiarity with online management platforms, including TutorCruncher and Goals Portal.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues in multiple mediums (in-person, email, etc.).
• A valid CA Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion (required before providing client services).

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications can enhance your application:

• Experience working with students with diverse needs, including those with special needs or challenging behaviors.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions, such as positive behavioral supports or social-emotional learning strategies.
• Previous experience using online coaching or tutoring platforms.
• A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
