Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to insurance providers to verify coverage and resolve issues
- Investigate and update patient data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Use computer skills for data entry and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Work with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient, resolving any issues or concerns that may arise
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Experience with medical insurance and call center experience (previous customer service experience is highly valued)
- Active internet connection and the ability to work in a quiet setting
- Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
- Passion and willingness to help others, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- HS Diploma/Equivalent required (further education or certifications in a related field is a plus)
- Willingness to pick up equipment in Irving, TX (no exceptions)
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Previous experience working in the healthcare industry or with a pharmaceutical company
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Certifications or training in customer service, medical insurance, or a related field
- Proficiency in multiple software applications and systems

Schedule and Start Date
The schedule for this role is 8am - 9pm EST, Mon - Fri (an 8hr shift will be assigned after training between these hours). The start date is November 25th, 2024, although this may be sooner based on the completion of the onboarding process.
