About the Role
As a Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee, you'll be responsible for leading and developing high-performing teams, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, gain valuable experience in retail operations, and advance your career within Walmart.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop Teams: Teach, train, and mentor associates to achieve business objectives and provide feedback to improve performance.
 - Exceptional Customer Service: Demonstrate and promote the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manage customer service initiatives, and resolve customer complaints and issues.
 - Drive Sales Growth: Review and evaluate P&L statements, manage budgeting and forecasting, and implement action plans to achieve sales and profit goals.
 - Associate Development: Hire, train, and mentor hourly associates, provide recognition, and ensure diversity and inclusion awareness.
 - Business Operations: Coordinate and complete job-related activities, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
 - Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission and values, and demonstrate integrity and ethics in business practices.
 
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- 2 years' of college; OR
 - 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR
 - 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered advantageous:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
 - Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
 - General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
