Key Responsibilities

• Indicate your availability to tutor in your profile, without minimum or maximum requirements
• Review curriculum materials and lesson content to prepare for tutoring sessions
• Tutor students virtually in a 1:1 to 1:3 setting, building relationships and supporting their learning experience
• Commit to your scheduled tutoring sessions to provide a consistent experience for students
• Utilize online virtual tools and technology to deliver high-quality tutoring

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Virtual Math Tutor with Littera Education, you'll need:

• Relevant experience working with school-age learners in some capacity
• Relatively consistent ongoing calendar availability from 8am-9am EST, 3-4 days a week
• Ability to effectively instruct and engage students with clear communication and interpersonal skills
• High comfort level with online virtual tools and technology
• Desktop or laptop using the Chrome browser, a video camera, and a reliable/stable internet connection
• Residency in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, but college students with 1+ year of relevant experience are welcome to apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring math to middle school students
• Strong knowledge of upper elementary and early middle school math concepts
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
