Key Responsibilities

• Own the storytelling process: Develop the settings, characters, and story arcs for the new IP, working closely with Art and Design authorities.
• Write high-quality content: Identify publication needs across various settings, including in-game dialogue, character descriptions, cinematics, and more.
• Integrate narrative and game design: Collaborate with the game design team to create engaging story frameworks that reward player attention and effort.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive culture: Promote a culture of inclusivity within the team, guiding the narratives and worlds you create.
• Communicate effectively: Develop and refine key messaging to convey your vision to colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
• Participate in playtesting and feedback: Engage in group playtesting and provide constructive feedback to improve the game.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Significant experience in game narrative design: A proven track record of developing compelling stories across various IPs or projects.
• Leadership and collaboration skills: Experience managing and guiding writers and other creative colleagues.
• Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate with authenticity, intent, and curiosity.
• Proficiency in game development tools: Experience working directly with in-game tools to deliver text.
