Job Description:
As a Pharmacist with Workwarp, you will be responsible for evaluating and reviewing prior authorization requests, rendering coverage determinations, and providing exceptional service to Medicare Part D members and providers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and reviewing prior authorization requests to render coverage determinations based on clinical criteria and plan design
 - Verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, interpreting clinical guideline criteria, and consulting with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed
 - Conveying decisions regarding cases promptly and efficiently to all healthcare providers, health plans/employers, patients, and other healthcare professionals
 - Supporting Medicare Part D members and providers with requests related to their pharmacy benefits
 - Ensuring cases are accurately set up for our members, reviewing clinical information for decisioning requests, and performing outreach to providers for more information when needed
 - Ensuring accurate decisions that comply with compendia and Medicare guidance and timelines
 
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a licensed Pharmacist in the state where you reside
 - Have prior authorization experience, preferably with a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM)
 - Have a home office setup with no distractions and a reliable internet connection
 
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with Medicare Part D
 - Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmacy benefits
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
