Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality video and audio elements to produce compelling and engaging news, sports, and feature stories in a daily deadline environment.
 - Edit stories using Edius or other editing platforms, and provide editorial input and collaboration for stories and daily newscasts.
 - Operate ENG van and live remote equipment, and be familiar with all distribution platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and the internet.
 - Post to social media, edit social videos, and create digital content to engage our audience.
 - Work independently and as part of a team to produce high-quality content, and be able to tell news stories creatively with strong audio and visual skills.
 - Make quick decisions while working under pressured deadlines, and be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts.
 - Possess strong computer skills in a mobile environment, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 80 pounds with or without accommodation.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of two years' experience as a TV photojournalist and news editor.
 - Proficiency in Edius non-linear editing system.
 - Complete newsgathering skills, including the ability to operate ENG van and live remote equipment.
 - Strong audio and visual skills, with the ability to tell news stories creatively.
 - Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 80 pounds with or without accommodation.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multimedia storytelling skills (MSJ).
 - Experience with social media platforms and digital content creation.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
