What You'll Do

As a Product Manager III at Walmart Data Ventures, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy and roadmap. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategy Execution: Develop and execute the strategy and roadmap to address customer needs, ensuring seamless product development and delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data stewardship, to bring products to life.
• Product Evangelism: Serve as the go-to expert for product offerings, evangelizing our value proposition to customers and stakeholders.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use insights from data to inform product improvements, assess product performance metrics, and identify trends and insights.
• Customer Connection: Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and inform the roadmap, mapping opportunities in user stories, flow diagrams, and wireframes.
• Agile Product Management: Organize sprints, prioritize the product backlog, and provide clarity around requirements to the product development group.
• Communication: Regularly communicate product development progress to the rest of the organization, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Requirements Definition: Define and document functional and non-functional requirements, track prioritization, and own timely delivery of products/features.
• User Acceptance Testing: Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing of functional requirements.

What We're Looking For

To succeed as a Product Manager III at Walmart Data Ventures, you'll need:

• Software Development Lifecycle: A solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Product Management Experience: At least 3 years of product management experience, with 2 years in the B2B space.
• Enterprise/B2B Experience: Experience launching Enterprise/B2B web and mobile apps.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into business impact/requirements.
• Retail Experience: A minimum of two years of Retail experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional and global teams across time zones.
• API Integrations: Experience working with API integrations.
• User-Centric Approach: A user-centric product management approach.
• Data Management: A solid understanding of data, data management, and good data practices.
• Data Analytics: Basic knowledge of data analytics and data science concepts.
• Communication Skills: Excellent user story writing skills, user journey mapping, wireframing, and workflow diagrams.
• Data Analytics Tools: Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL and/or BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Effective Communication: Effective communication skills at all levels, with the ability to break down technical platform information to non-technical stakeholders.
