Job Summary
We're looking for a seasoned and experienced Project Coordinator to support the CPO, her executive office, and the Strategic Partnerships team. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing quarterly, monthly, and weekly planning for the CPO, coordinating preparation for key meetings and travel arrangements, and providing general administrative support. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires seamless collaboration across a wide range of stakeholders, both inside and outside of American Express.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator - Strategic Partnerships, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing quarterly, monthly, and weekly planning for the CPO, highlighting key meetings, external and internal travel, and necessary preparation.
- Coordinating preparation for CPO on a day-to-day basis, including requesting and compiling materials, making necessary follow-ups, and ensuring seamless communication.
- Managing general follow-ups and generating reminders to effectively meet deadlines and commitments.
- Making multi-city and international travel arrangements and itineraries, including briefing books with logistics and client briefs.
- Preparing, reconciling, processing, and approvals of expense reports in line with company and organization requirements using Concur Expense System.
- Managing key team resources, including updating distribution lists, contact lists, organizational charts, PTO tracking, and other essential tasks.
- Working closely with the Executive Office team to coordinate CPO office operations and providing backup administrative support to Senior Executive Assistant.
- Assisting on special projects and events as capacity allows.

Essential Qualifications
- A proven track record of supporting executives effectively with a "customer first" mentality and keen attention to the executive's job demands, experience, and needs.
- Ability to operate with a high level of integrity for handling sensitive issues and maintaining complete confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver effective communications at all levels of management, colleagues, and business contacts.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work flexibly, sometimes under pressure.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work within deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and execute across multiple initiatives/tasks.
- High level of proficiency using MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as internal AXP (or related) tools and systems – WebEx, Zoom, Teams, Slack, Outlook, Ariba, Concur, SharePoint, etc.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship, and networking skills to build and maintain effective professional relationships across all areas of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting senior executives and managing complex projects.
- Knowledge of American Express or similar companies, and experience working with large-scale partnerships and business relationships.
- Certification in project management or a related field is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $24.05 to $48.10 hourly, plus bonus and benefits. The actual salary will depend on your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
