Kitchen Crew Member
Position Overview:
As a Kitchen Crew Member at Golden Corral, you will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality food preparation and kitchen operations to ensure a pleasant dining experience for our guests. You will work as part of a friendly, team-oriented environment, assisting in various kitchen tasks to support smooth service and uphold food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to Golden Corral’s recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (grill, fryer, ovens, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to reduce waste
• Work cooperatively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
• Support buffet replenishment and presentation when necessary
• Complete training and certification in assigned kitchen skill areas as part of the FastTracks program
Qualifications:
• Energetic and friendly attitude with a team spirit
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in various kitchen skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
• Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required
