About the Role: Customer Care Specialist
We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our Revenue Cycle Business Services team as a Customer Care Specialist. This 100% remote opportunity allows you to work from anywhere, providing flexibility and work-life balance while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be the face of Providence Health & Services, ensuring that our patients have a positive experience while resolving their accounts in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to PH&S patients, addressing their concerns and resolving their accounts efficiently.
- Adhere to set schedules and handle time standards to ensure availability and responsiveness to patient needs.
- Treat patients with compassion, respect, and empathy, protecting their privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Promote the Providence mission, values, and philosophy in all interactions, serving as a role model for our organization's culture.
- Perform duties in a manner that supports our commitment to racial and social justice and equality.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- Additional experience in customer service or a related field.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and patient care services.
