Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to service calls from customers, identifying their location and gathering relevant information related to their inquiry or concern.
- Determine the priority of the service request and set customer expectations accordingly.
- Enter relevant information into our system and dispatch calls to the appropriate technician or dispatch center.
- Handle weekend and non-business hour dispatches, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
- Verify warranty status for equipment and communicate with customers regarding their options.
- Monitor the status of Priority 1 work orders to ensure timely handling and resolution.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Basic PC skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment.
- Familiarity with customer service software and technology.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
