Key Responsibilities

  • Answer 40-60 inbound calls per day, responding to inquiries ranging from routine to moderate complexity
  • Capture member information accurately and update systems with complete and concise data
  • Ensure flexibility, stay organized, and comply with constantly changing programs and business rules
  • Investigate issues that cannot be resolved at the time of initial call, collaborating with internal teams to research and follow up with the member until a resolution occurs
  • Determine proper issue escalation, joining forces with other internal departments to provide a solution for the member
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to privacy, confidentiality, and industry standards

Essential Qualifications

  • 1+ years of call center experience in a large company, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work remotely in a professional environment, independently, and with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
  • Reliable, tech-savvy, and able to adapt to changing situations and priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the healthcare field, with knowledge of electronic medical record systems and industry-specific software
  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment

Compensation and Benefits

Schedule and Work Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with 8 consecutive hours between 7am-6pm PST. Training will be delivered Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm MST.
