About the Role

As a Customer Support Response Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients of our Driver Assistance Program. This may involve handling a wide range of issues, from simple mapping and navigation to emergency situations. You will need to exhibit a high degree of caring and empathy on each call, and be able to handle stressful situations in a calming manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Listen carefully and evaluate each caller's situation to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Exhibit a high degree of caring and empathy on each call.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients of our Driver Assistance Program.

Schedule and Compensation

As a Customer Support Response Specialist, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and work at times that are convenient for you. Our client hours of operation are open 24x7, so you can choose to work day, night, or weekend hours. Our compensation package is competitive and includes:
  • Contract Rate: $0.28 per customer interaction minute (bilingual contractors earn $0.31 per minute).
  • Minimum Guarantee: 45 minutes per available hour (bilingual contractors have a 48-minute minimum guarantee).
  • Hourly Earnings: $12.60 - $16.80 per hour (bilingual contractors earn $14.88 - $18.60 per hour).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Caring and Sympathetic Demeanor: You must be able to exhibit a high degree of caring and empathy on each call.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Multi-Tasking: You must be able to multi-task and find answers while on the phone with a customer.
  • Ability to React and Respond Decisively: You must be able to react and respond decisively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to Reassure, Control, and Diffuse Emotional and/or Difficult Calls: You must be able to handle stressful situations in a calming manner.
  • Fluency in English: You must be fluent in English (bilingual contractors must also be fluent in Spanish or French).

Tech Requirements

To work as a Customer Support Response Specialist, you will need to meet the following technical requirements:
  • Quiet, Uninterrupted Environment: You must have a quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours.
  • Broadband Internet Connection: You must have a broadband internet connection (at least 10 MBPS recommended).
  • Wired Internet Connection: You must use a wired internet connection during tech setups, while attending education classes, and while working.
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 Operating System: You must use a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
  • Valid Antivirus Software: You must have valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date.
  • Wired USB Headset with Microphone: You must have a wired USB headset with microphone (gaming headsets not accepted).
  • Smart Phone, Android Tablet, or iPad: You must have a smart phone, Android tablet, or iPad and be willing to install an authentication app related to program work.
