As a Service Desk 3, you will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of our infrastructure, providing top-notch support to our staff, and contributing to the company's innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, configure, and repair servers, networks, infrastructure, Data Centers, SaaS applications, file shares, and other infrastructure issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Work on projects with various teams and departments, alongside vendors, to deliver a superior user experience for staff.
- Provide customer service, demonstrating a team-player attitude and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate tracking in JIRA on the project board, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Manage onsite servers, storage, network, and VMware, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Create and edit documentation to improve knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
- Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with applications and systems, adopting new IT support and management platforms as needed.
- Assist IT Leadership in establishing processes and procedures to enhance operational excellence.
- Procure, deploy, support, and maintain IT infrastructure at Crusoe Industries, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Ensure timely communications and acknowledgments, maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
You Will Thrive in This Role If
You have a strong technical background and a passion for delivering exceptional support. The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience with MDR/XDR platforms (e.g., Sophos XDR, Crowdstrike, Huntress) and Cloud Identity Mgmt platforms with SSO, SAML 2.0, and MFA.
- Experience with MDM automation (e.g., Google MDM, Kandji, Intune) and managing, implementing, and maintaining SAAS platforms.
- A background working as an engineer at an MSP, with experience in project work and a large end-user pool.
- Technical knowledge of Windows operating systems and experience with deployments and troubleshooting.
- Ability to administer MacOS and support Macs and Linux using the command line.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 6 years of working experience in a relevant field.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $90,000 - $100,000, plus Restricted Stock Units. Our benefits include:
