About the Role
As a Service Parts Logistics Sales Account Manager at UPS, you'll play a critical role in driving new revenue growth in the Service Parts Logistics industry through our Global Logistics and Distribution (GL&D) services. You'll work closely with our sales teams to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers. Your expertise will help us deliver tailored solutions that meet the complex needs of our customers, setting us apart from the competition.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate UPS sales accounts to identify potential GL&D customers and opportunities for growth
 - Qualify and quantify sales opportunities using internal resources, ensuring alignment with UPS's products and industry expertise
 - Develop and execute winning sales strategies to achieve GL&D business goals and objectives
 - Collaborate with overlay sales groups to define GL&D services and create organizational awareness through presentations and conference calls
 - Provide guidance and training to sales teams on UPS's distribution products and capabilities, enhancing their ability to sell global logistics solutions
 - Arrange customer visits to UPS facilities to identify opportunities and win new business
 - Interact with sales groups and support teams to gather, share, and act on sales leads
 - Collect essential data elements to complete sales documents and develop sales opportunities
 - Collaborate with the Supply Chain Solutions contracts group to create customer agreement presentations and reviews
 - Present business agreements to key decision-makers, negotiate customer contracts, and position contractual language

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in sales and contract logistics, with a deep understanding of the Service Parts Logistics industry. We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable about UPS's products and services, as well as industry trends and competitor strategies.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
 - Experience in sales and contract logistics
 - Strong understanding of the Service Parts Logistics industry and technician process flows
 - Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with customers
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or internationally comparable degree
 - Knowledge of UPS's products, services, and customer-facing technology solutions across multiple business units
 - Understanding of industry trends, needs, and processes, as well as competitor strategies and market dynamics
 - Ability to analyze complex business problems, identify opportunities, and develop comprehensive solutions

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $87,000/year to $152,000/year, depending on your experience and qualifications. You'll also be eligible for:
