Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Washington and Oregon. As a strategic human resources business partner, you will play a critical role in developing and executing components of the people strategy for our retail division, which comprises approximately 1,000-1,600 stores and 22,000 colleagues. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Regional Directors, assisting them in the development of their store talent strategies and providing thought partnership to Talent Development Business Partners and HR Directors on talent mobility and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute divisional people strategies to address the current and future direction of the business, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
 - Provide strategic guidance and support to Regional Directors, Talent Development Business Partners, and HR Directors to drive business outcomes and improve organizational effectiveness.
 - Champion a change-capable organization, helping colleagues to thrive in a constantly changing environment and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
 - Broker consulting, project, and other work with Centers of Excellence, leveraging enterprise resources and expertise to drive business results.
 - Analyze HR data and metrics, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
 - Leverage technology, tools, and resources to optimize organizational effectiveness, streamline processes, and improve employee engagement.
 - Recognize, articulate, and help shape company culture, ensuring alignment with our purpose and values.
 - Facilitate dialogue and discussion to align others on values and encourage collaboration, driving a culture of inclusivity and respect.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 7+ years of Human Resource experience, with a strong background in HR generalist concepts, talent development, and organizational design.
 - Ability to travel 60% of the time or as business needs require, with a focus on Washington and Oregon.
 - Knowledgeable in a variety of HR generalist concepts, with the ability to identify business opportunities and develop and implement people strategies to address.
 - Proven ability to build and manage relationships with field or senior business leaders, with a strong track record of coaching and developing colleagues at all levels.
 - Proven collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with members of the HR Centers of Excellence and other stakeholders.
 - Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop, document, and communicate strategies that drive business outcomes.
 - Able to work autonomously, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
 - Able to gather data, analyze issues, identify root causes, and address opportunities related to a diverse and dynamic slate of business challenges.
 - Experience in recognizing development gaps and partnering across groups to solve them, with strong facilitation and training skills.
 - Ability to triage and prioritize competing priorities, with a focus on driving business results and improving organizational effectiveness.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM Certification or other relevant professional certifications.
 - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
