About the Role: Business Analysis Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analysis Manager to join our Global Reporting team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving Starbucks' success by collaborating with cross-functional finance teams to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages to a senior audience, including the board and executive leadership team. You will also be responsible for leading and enhancing our consolidated operating margin analyses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive change and efficiencies while delivering effective reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative approaches to complex problems and situations, leveraging external benchmarking, statistical tools, and scenario analysis to inform sound financial business decisions.
• Conduct research and analysis to drive business outcomes, including the development of financial models and forecasts.
• Provide training, guidance, and leadership to colleagues to achieve business results, including mentoring junior members of the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set targets and deadlines, develop plans, conduct investigations, measure results, and improve processes.
• Present data and recommendations to senior management, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, planning, and business planning, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement.
• Material industry experience, with a strong understanding of the retail or food and beverage industry.
• Proven experience in contributing to and leading cross-functional teams, with a strong ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders.
• Project management experience, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as an MBA or Master's in Finance.
• Certification in a relevant field, such as CPA or CFA.
